The distinguished Judge Robert Eckels of Harris County (County Highest Official) established the Committee in 2001. All selected and excellent members of Committee are appointed to the Harris County Judge's Commission on Economic Development by Judge Eckels. The members of Committee are entitled to all the rights and privileges to work with Judge directly and Economic Development Department of Harris County to promote Harris County international business opportunity, world trade and the development of foreign investment utilization.
 

The US-China Federal Association of Business Council (UCFABC) is a non-for-profit and non-political organization that is registered in the State of Texas, USA. The organization has its headquarters located in Houston, Texas. Our mission is to promote and develop Sino-US trade and investment activities through better understanding of business environments, cultural traditions, inter-exchanges, communication, and cooperation.

UCFABC will fully utilize its broad connections with governments, trade associations, companies and individuals in both China and the United States to serve our members in the following areas:
  • International business forum
  • Trade promotion and mission
  • Special training programs
  • Cultural exchange
  • Public relations
  • Exhibition and business travel
  • Marketing research and consulting
  • Investment and commercial legal consulting
  • Financial and taxation research and consulting

We will also design and carry out any special activities upon request from our members.
 

The US-China Peoples Friendship Association (USCPFA) is nonprofit,which was founded as a national organization in 1974, working on people-to-people diplomacy between Americans and Chinese. Over 50 chapters in four regions spanning the United States comprise the organization.
Opportunities for the American and Chinese people to learn from each other have increased significantly. Cultural, scientific, educational, medical and technological exchanges, which are of great value to both countries, are expanding rapidly. The US-China Peoples Friendship Association initiates and participates actively in these exchanges.
